After entertaining at an adult day care facility I stoped at their resale shop on my way home.  I’m always looking for gadgets for use in clowning.  I found this straw hat.  It called out to me.  It fit, and for $2.00 I had a new persona.  When I got home, removed my clown clothes, and put on my new hat all I needed were the country bumpkin freckles to complete my look.  With my camera in hand and imagination I began to make faces in the mirror.  This painting is from one of the photos I took.
